Our Shiba Inu adults participate in AKC conformation shows to ensure we are raising breed standard puppies. We currently have 6 AKC Champions with more showing every day. All of our adults come from AKC Champion bloodlines.

As responsible Shiba Inu breeders, all of our adults are health-tested and OFA certified to ensure that we are producing the healthiest puppies possible. All puppies are vet-checked at least twice before they leave, and are current on vaccinatons and dewormings.

Our puppies are raised with love and given lots of attention by our family, so they are pre-spoiled and well-socialized when they arrive at their new homes. We want our puppies to be able to fit right into a family once they leave us.

Our Family
Kys' Creekside Kennel is a small state & USDA-licensed kennel located on a 23 acre farm in southwest Missouri. I am a Registered Nurse and a Professional Dog Breeder. My husband is a Health Inspector for Jasper County. We have 2 children that love to spoil the puppies and socialize with all of our dogs.
Our Expertise
Our dogs have lots of space to run, our kennel has more than double the space required by Missouri law. All of our dogs and puppies are loved and cared for every single day. We are inspected yearly by the State of Missouri, USDA, AKC and our veterinarian. This is the LAW! Do not do business with breeders that are not licensed.
Going Above & Beyond
OFA Health Testing
All of our adults are health-tested through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. You can find all of their testing and certification numbers on the adult page under each individual dog. By participating in screening by the OFA, we can ensure that our breeding practices yield healthy puppies.
AKC Breeder of Merit
Kys' Creekside is an AKC Breeder of Merit participant. The AKC believes in honoring responsible breeders who have gone above and beyond on health issues, temperament, and genetic screening, as well as to the individual care and placement of puppies in responsible homes.
The AKC started the Breeder of Merit Program: To give breeders a way to prove their dedication to preserving breed characteristics and producing healthy, well-socialized puppies. We consider them the most conscientious and most committed breeders.
In order to participate:
- Have a history of at least 5 years involvement with AKC events.
- Have earned AKC Conformation, Performance or Companion event titles on a minimum of 4 dogs from AKC litters they bred or co-bred.
- Be a member of an AKC club.
- Certify that applicable health screens are performed on your breeding stock as recommended by the Parent Club.
- Demonstrate that 100% of the puppies produced are individually AKC registered.
